General email settings are listed below: (see POP vs IMAP)
Incoming Mail – IMAP
Incoming Mail Server: mail.<your-domain-name> (e.g. mail.website.co.nz)
Incoming Port: 143
Username: Your full email address
SSL: Off
If you wish to use SSL, change your Incoming settings to:
Incoming Mail Server: mail.ramsu.co.nz OR mail.servernet.co.nz
Incoming Port: 993
Incoming Mail – POP
Incoming Mail Server: mail.<your-domain-name> (e.g. mail.website.co.nz)
Incoming Port: 110
Username: Your full email address
If you wish to use SSL, change your Incoming settings to:
Incoming Mail Server: mail.ramsu.co.nz OR mail.servernet.co.nz
Incoming Port: 995
Outgoing Mail
Outgoing Mail Server: mail.<your-domain-name> (e.g. mail.website.co.nz)
SMTP Authentication required using same login details as incoming.
Outgoing Port: 465 or 587 (try either)
If you wish to use SSL, change your Outgoing settings to:
Outgoing Mail Server: mail.ramsu.co.nz OR mail.servernet.co.nz
Incoming Port: 465 or 587
SSL
If you wish to use SSL for sending or receiving email, you cannot use your own domain as the mail server names, e.g. mail.<your-domain-name>.
Instead you must use mail.ramsu.co.nz OR mail.servernet.co.nz, otherwise your email software will display an error saying the SSL Certificate name does not match.
